Number 10, letter Gg and Dinosaurs Galore!

Number 10, letter Gg and Dinosaurs Galore!!

Our Preppers brought their dinosaurs to school to visit for the week. (I threw a couple of towels over some building blocks randomly placed and made a landscape for the figures)

Triangles in an a b pattern were added to a Stegosaurus to make his bony plates.

Our dinosaur landscape gave is a little more information on dinosaurs and gave us cutting practice.*

*be sure to provide your child with children's scissors and lots of supervised cutting practice

With a little imagination can you see the dino that Dylan made?

Rayna develops fine motor skills as she paints a dinosaur scene.

A spontaneous (everything is spontaneous with preschoolers) puppet show broke out during choosing time.

I had noticed, in the news, some controversy over finding enough time in the school day for the pledge (really??)~ here we are beginning our day as we do every morning…. a whole 21 seconds!

We practiced crawling and played "Duck, Duck, Dinosaur" for some large muscle practice.

Our letter Gg song is presented by the "Story Botz" which are always a hit!
It's too fast to sing, but ask your "Prepper" what words they heard that start with G!

Even our "Snacks by Owen" started with G (or had a dinosaur theme!)

At my suggestion, Sarah reluctantly shows us her Growing flower shirt. The rest of the story. She brought a Spiderman book from the actual Broadway Spiderman show- which includes a picture of Green Goblin. Mean Miss Paula suggested she keep the Spidy book for next week's S letter. Poor Green Goblin spent the day in her bag. Her gracious mommy explained it all to me later that day!
