Pumpkins

PUMPKIN WEEK!
so much to learn using pumpkins
Ordering from smallest to largest,
measuring the circumstance, the height, the weight.

Then we cut a top to peek inside....

Our brave ones attacking the slimy pulp to find the seeds.
We roasted them (after cleaning and spraying with olive oil) All of L.A.P smelled yummy.
About 1/3 of the class loved them 1/3 didn't taste or didn't like and 1/3 thought they were ok.
Put Miss Amy and I down for yummmm.

Hammering golf tees, just for fun!

Rubber bands and push pins=geometric shapes and designs and smiles

"treaurefying" a pumpkin

6 pumpkin seed on our pumpkin ten frame

and 6 more treasures on our cut out 6's

here's what we found in our pumpkin

We wadded newspaper (boy that was fun) and stuffed bags....then

a litte raffia and "wallah"
