Seasons/Weather

 Weather/Seasons

We swapped out our regular dress up clothes for summer, fall, winter and spring attire!

Our little readers are developing some good skills.
Our number this week was 4 (Human ten frame)
Arranging our friends to order the numbers 1   2   3   4

This time we represented 1-4 with dots (subitizing)

Ordering the ten frame representations of the numbers 1-4

Enjoying some late summer weather

Minds in Motion Maze
Our  researched based minds in motion green room stimulates the brain while having lots of fun. You can look up information on "Minds in Motion" on the internet. The founder, Candy Meyer, is from Madison Indiana.

Here we passed out shapes and the preppers had to find others with the same shape.  Then we sorted by color.
The second to last Monarch hatched this week and immediately flew to the mums by the L.A.P. entrance

Miss Amy runs our Arts and Crafts table! Here we are decorating our T.
We love our letter songs!

We are holding up our items that start with "Tt."
not sure why there is an unusual header and footer!

There were a few duplicates and we counted them on our "human ten frame"
 Two turtles
 three trains

two Twinklelight Sparkles

three trucks (one is a taco truck, it holds tacos!)
Here is one of our volunteers! There is an open invitation to parents to help in the room form 9-10 any day (Wednesday- Friday) with no warning! I have items ready for anyone showing up. A little extra one on one time can make a big difference!

Our B l a c k color song
Just fun in the room!

Following our Bible story, we pray before our snack.  I hope each of you are reminded of the tender hearts of your dear children and that you are building into them a love for Jesus and others.

Have a blessed weekend!
