Easter  Easter Easter
Using Resurrection Eggs we began our study of Holy week with Jesus's Triumphal Entry The first egg has a donkey in it~
The set consists of a dozen colored eggs. Inside each one is a little trinket to symbolize the different parts of the Easter story. The eggs’ colors also fit with which part of the story they cover.
Each day this week we opened 4 eggs (using four different children each day) and I gave a brief explanation of how the trinket fit into the Easter Story.  On Friday the 5 extra students picked any random egg and were able to tell how the content of their egg played a part in the Easter story.

We are making the empty tomb

We added the Angel, a risen Jesus and a distant Cross
The last Resurrection Egg was empty, like the tomb!

By Friday, we were able to order 5 events-the arrival of Jesus on
a donkey, the Passover super, His prayer in the garden, his carrying of the cross and the empty tomb

Miss Andrea helped us with two beautiful cross projects

Our word for the week was "look"

He is looking for the word "look"

"Look, I see a zinnia."
Our letter was Z
Our show and tell for Z..
