Valentines!

Valentines

The Valentine Boxes were Amazing!
During the week and the morning of the party we made extra valentines ~ We were able to find many of the names of our classmates!

We had a special news report on animals that have markings, or poses that resemble hearts~

Here our "Preppers" are matching Upper and Lower case letters on a Valentine stamping sheet~

Here we are working on the letter "N"
If you listen carefully they mention a narwhal ~ One of our classmates knew about narwhals and brought a picture of one for…
Nn show and tell….
She correctly told us that the spear was actually a large tooth and that the narwhal is the "Unicorn of the Sea!"

Our Green Room is set up as a "Minds in Motion" brain maze these days- and the children usually run through it three times.

We end our session with jump rope

Jumping Rope - Why Skip?

  • Skipping or jumping rope  helps improve both your overall health and athleticism.
  • It improves cardio fitnessmuscle and bone strength, and flexibility.

You will need to use some imagination here, and I hope you are somewhat familiar with the story of the prodigal son…

Here, the son, played by a girl, is wasting his/her family         inheritance
                                            "whoo hooo"

Here she (he) is sad, after blowing all the money and having to feed pigs~  (can't get a 4year old to act sad)
Here the father embraces the son as he/she returns home wondering if her/his father will take him/her back.
Of course he does-demonstrating God's grace and love for all of us.
If you are still unclear… You'll find the actual story in Luke 15.
or watch the video…

Prayer time

Have a blessed weekend
