Our Last Two Weeks!

Our last two themes this year were Insects/Creepy Crawlies and Farm Animals

All year, our theme based show and tells have been a great reinforcement of our themes and a huge motivator as sharing things from home is somehow extra extra exciting for a preschooler.
Here are some of our bugs…

Sometimes for the sake of "honoring every contribution"- we aid in the interpretation of our show and tells- Snakes eat bugs!

We thought we lost this little ladies' caterpillar, but alas it made a cocoon! Did you know that moth caterpillars make cocoons, but butterfly caterpillars make a chrysalis? (usually the fuzzy caterpillars are moth caterpillars)

A Very Special Farm Show and Tell on Our Last Day!

Our Bible Story was about bold, brave Nehemiah who rebuilt the wall around Jerusalem in record time! All while people criticized and attempted to stop him. ( a lot of great lessons on doing the right thing despite others trying to talk you out of it)

It was a wonderful year, thank you, again, for the many expressions of gratitude- Best wishes for a great summer and wonderful school year.  I hope you are connected with a church family, especially as you send your prepper into public school- no more Bible Stories and Prayer- May your church and family practices fill in that gap for these  precious little souls who are loved dearly and thought of often.
