St. Patrick's Day, Rainbows and Noah's Ark

St. Patrick's Day, Rainbows and Noah's Ark

Along with lots of St.Patrick's Day books and crafts, we enjoyed a real Irish treat with a bagpipes performance!

Our Preppers used a mixture of Almond milk and food coloring for a rainbow swirl creative art piece!

Working on our small group activity

Plenty of time to imagine and explore~

 (choosing to read, too!)

Student led prayer before our yummy snacks
We listened to a Noah's Ark song

In our story, Noah's Ark, we talked about how Noah followed God in a world where everyone else was making very poor decisions. ~And God noted his Godly behavior and kept him safe. I put in a good word for you parents reminding our class that obedience to their parents (you guys)  demonstrates obeying God and keeps them safe.

Enjoy your Spring Break- be safe and be blessed- Miss Paula

Read Across America and Dental Health!

For "Read Across America," We had a "special reader visit" from Mrs. Smith~
We had lots of fun with Dr. Seuss books and activities~

Reading "at" family words

"Cat in the Hat" math

Our silly hats with our silly expressions…

After reading "There's a Wocket in myPocket," we counted our pockets…
We had from 2 to 13 pockets!

Of course, we make a "Wocket" for our pocket!

We created creatures and made a rhyme to name them~

We worked on finding rhyming words (with pictures)

Always time to explore~

(playing school)

During exploration time we have children electing to read!

Counting to 100!~

Making sure we know all our letters and sounds~

We worked on the "Xx" sound (we focused on the ending sound)
Here are some of our Show and Tells~
