Thanksgiving and Turkeys
Miss Amy reads about the first Thanksgiving
And we learned about real turkeys

Snack time is always a big hit. This week we had a taste of pumpkin pie and we made real butter and tasted it on a cracker.

We had a visit from  a native American, Amber Deer Bliss

Amber is Mohawk and Ojibwe
(Northern American Tribes)
She was dressed in full regalia, told us about Native American traditions, showed us a shaw dance and taught us a Pow Wow dance
