Derby Time

Derby Time
We began the week discussing the Derby and many of the celebrations surrounding the Derby.

Stick-pony races…

Garlands and Jockeys

Miss Kelly shared with all the Thursday classes  about Jockeys and what they wear! (notice the size of the saddle and the boots!)

We had an exciting visit from Eliza's dad and her newborn baby brother, Crosby!

Following our Brain Maze exercise for the body and brain….We played a bean bag pass game…

Although it was a little chilly we were able to get outside each day this week….

Our Bible Story was take from Jesus' teaching in Matthew 6. Birds and flowers don't worry and neither should we.  We talked about God supplying our needs and discussed the difference between wants and needs.
We sang along with the video "My God Will Supply All your Needs" on Vimeo. I only seem to be able to load Youtube videos.
Here is the audio:

We concluded the week with Campbell leading the class in prayer for Adeline who had ear and adenoid surgery today and for Dane who was scheduled to revisit the  doctor for his broken arm.
Have a Blessed Weekend -Miss Paula
